owners provided more than we expected with their thoughtful little touches, making it a peaceful, comfortable stay.
Positive: Very clean & comfortable. Amazing views, from the comfy lounges on the back verandah, firewood, filtered coffee machine, tea, hot choc all provided was a lovely touch & well received. So peaceful & quiet.
Negative: Nothing

Great proprerty, the host really ensured everything was thought. We would definitely return again
Positive: We really enjoyed the property and how quiet the location offered. Very peaceful and really felt like it was a home away from home.

Cosy country-style cottage with beautiful tree-filled outlook
Positive: The house was much cuter in real life than the photos depict, so we were very happy when we saw it. The garden and outlook was lovely and we enjoyed the visiting wallabies, a hare, and a couple of possums that came close to us on the deck both nights, which was a lovely surprise. Everything was super clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you'd need in terms of utensils and things like mosquito coils. The cost was high for just me and my friend, but Maleny had limited choice for what we needed when we booked, but it would be more value for money if you booked for the number of people the property sleeps. There's a really nice energy in the property, and we'd happily come back in cooler weather.
Negative: The heat that gets captured in the upstairs rooms makes it pretty unpleasant to spend time up there or sleep (the standing fan was on me full blast all night, which was noisy), even when we kept the doors and windows open all day and the fans on to release some of it. There really needs to be better ventilation to allow the crosswinds to move through the rooms, and if this isn't possible, an air con is needed. The upstairs bed was too soft for me, but that's a personal preference.
